School Development Days
Throughout the year, certain days are reserved for school staff to engage in professional and school development activities. Students do not attend on these days. Dates are listed in the Parent Term Planners.
Morning Arrival Time
Children should not be dropped off at school before 8:15am. Supervision is provided in the undercover area from 8:15am to 8:30am. At 8:30am, students go to their classrooms to prepare for the day, which begins at 8:45am. The safety and well-being of children may be at risk if they are unsupervised before 8:15am.
Camp Australia offers before-school care on site. If early drop-off is needed, consider signing up for this service.
Care for Kids OSHC
Care for Kids OSHC will begin at Upper Swan Primary School on Monday, October 7, 2024, the first day of Term 4, 2024. To enrol, please email upperswanpsoshc@careforkidswa.net.au.
Afternoon Pick Up Time
Students being picked up from the "Kiss and Ride" area in the parent car park need to be collected by 3:10pm. School finishes at 2:50pm. If students remain at school regularly past 3:10pm, alternative arrangements, such as enrolling in Camp Australia or Care for Kids, should be made.
